My Story

 

Hi friend, I'm so glad that you found your way here! I started my journey towards a healthier lifestyle almost 10 years ago and let me tell you.. I have learned so much (and spent a lot of money) through trial and error. Now I am a dual certified Holistic Nutritionist + Holistic Health Coach. My goal is to take some of that burden away from you and jumpstart your own personal journey. I will teach you to prioritize your health by helping you create rhythms and routines throughout your days to develop sustainable habits that will change your lifestyle.  

 

I take an individualized approach to health because we all have our own unique history and biological needs. What you won't find here are quick fixes, blanket statements or one-size-fits-all methods when it comes to health. I also have a bachelors degree in Social Work which gives me the unique ability to more holistically work with your mind and body. Continue reading to learn my approach and book a discovery call.

My Approach

So what do I mean by "holistic" exactly? I look at the whole picture rather than separating out the different parts. Health is so much more than just working out, counting calories or being a certain size. I take into consideration the products you are using in your home and on your body, the amount of sleep you are getting, the amount of stress you are under, how much movement you are getting throughout the day, what you are eating and how much. I couldn't possibly help you change your life without looking at the complete picture. I will meet you where you are and help you move toward your goals in a realistic timeline with the necessary tools to create lasting habits.

More About Me

 

I have always been a question asker, probably obnoxiously so.. and I don't just take someones word for truth. I research everything before committing to a decision. What I have come to learn, especially over the past few years is that less truly is more. The less that we interfere with God's design the better off our lives will be. Our bodies were meant to be healthy and thrive, we were meant to breathe clean air and drink pure water, to spend time in nature and eat real food. Now we do have some things working against us in this modern age but if we take the power back of things we can be in control of and not overly stress out over what we can't then we will be in a much healthier and happier place.

 

Real food, including properly and ethically raised meat, healthy fats and whole plant foods are always going to be my go-to. I don't recommend a lot of supplements because I want you to learn how to work with your body and utilize your food in the most efficient way first. Getting back to basics and unburdening myself from all the noise has been a huge gift that I want to share with others.
